Operating one of the finest fleet of aircraft in the UK, maintained to a meticulously high standard and with only the cream of instructors teaching our students.
Whether it is a taster session for a present or the start of a life long ambition to learn to fly, at Enstone Flying Club you will find only a dedicated team working hard to achieve your goals.
Enstone Flying Club offer a range of flying experiences, in all of which YOU get to fly the aircraft. For some this is a one off, given as a present, but for many it is the start of an exceptional achievement. How many times have your eyes been lifted skyward and imagined “what would that be like”?
It’s not as difficult or expensive as you might think...
Taster sessions start from as little a £99.00, getting your licence requires a bit more cash and 6 to12 months to complete. Once you have your licence you join the club and can hire our aircraft for an hour, a day or even a week and you only pay for the flying time.
Imagine being able to climb aboard your own aircraft and 2 hours later be in most of the major cities in Europe?!
I can’t tell you how many times I have looked down on the endless queues on our roads thinking “I’m glad I’m up here”…I am certain that you have looked up and thought, "there must be a better way of getting around than this". I can assure you...there is, and the view is spectacular!
Give us a call or drop in; Enstone is between Woodstock and Chipping Norton...come along and find out what you are missing.
Some comments after a taster session…
"As the cloud was low, I spent a great deal of time examining the glories of the Oxfordshire countryside, looking at the rural layout, the routine of order that farmers employ in their discipline of harvesting, the patterns of ploughing and planting, the shape and fold of hills and the route of rivers. My pilot was the font of all knowledge and pieced together history, geography and topography, whilst giving a running commentary on how to fly a plane. What an exceptional experience: I want to go again when the sky is really blue and there is lots of space to play in. Thank you Enstone flying club for infecting me." - Peronel Barnes August 2007
"I was enthralled at how different it looks up there in a small plane, the view is so much better and amazing than the little bit you get to look out of in a big plane. I have to say I haven't stopped talking to everyone, my family and friends who know me well are quite surprised that I have done it as I am afraid of heights. I felt very safe and secure. You gave me enough information of all the was happening throughout the flight, but not too much that it overwhelmed me. I think I may be hooked! " - Helen Fetzer September 2007
